LV's Early Birthday

WOW! Auntie Lorelei! Great cake! I love cake!

...yeah, so , anyway; the last time I had cake like THIS was...well, on my last birthday, which, incidentally, was also celebrated on a different day (IE NOT my actual birthDAY)..........

I just want some cake. I only came for the cake. can we cut the cake already?

Mama? can you tell Auntie Lorelei...less posing, more cutting? and let us eat cake!

this is ridiculous. excuse me, Auntie Lorelei but that is THE SAME POSE. CAKE? ANYONE?

okay. I love you Auntie Lorelei but I LOVE cake. and I have been very patient.

now I'm just thinking that you had better cut the damn cake before I start to steal, one by one, the sweet, fresh raspberries right from under your nose...

Note from Ed: The final photo has been omitted on account of the extreme distress and sadness it would no doubt have caused our readers, which would no doubt lead to feelings of horror and outrage, not to mention the ensuing protests and general public outcry, such as we saw when lollipops were taken out of the mouths of babes for the sake of a good photo.

However, we have included the comments, below, from young Poppy, to give you a conclusion, no matter how unsatisfactory, to this story.

...wait. it's gluten-free? are you kidding me?

GLUTEN-FREE CAKE FOR YOUR BIRTHDAY ON ACCOUNT OF YOUR NEPHEW'S NEEDS? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? DID YOU NOT MAKE A GLUTEN-FULL CAKE FOR THE NIECES? WE HAVE NEEDS TOO, AUNTIE LORELEI! WOULD THE REAL CAKE PLEASE STAND? IS THERE A REAL CAKE IN THE HOUSE? SHOW ME THE CAKE! OH, FORGET IT! GIVE ME THE RASPBERRIES AND YOU CAN KEEP YOUR DAMN FUN-FREE, FABULOUS-FREE, FRIVOLOUS-FREE, FLAVOUR-FREE, GLUTEN-FREE CAKE!!!

um. and happy birthday. for Tuesday. hope you have a lovely (gluten-full, nephew-free, niece-free) day.
