Poppy actually sampled a fresh cup cake straight from the oven during the baking process yesterday, however; her first pink-finished official birthday cup cake was finished off in no time tonight after dinner! yum! earlier today, we had visits from Aunty Ana, Oscar and Henry (with whom we went for a short, slow walk up the street. the boys took turns to be defiant and down right rude to their mama), Grandma and Grandpa, Sharon (from the show), Matty, Bill, Debbie and Corey. Sharon managed to find a swarovski star (to help us establish that very special tradition. I'm trying to locate a 2006 Christmas (limited) edition star), Debbie found a gorgeous faux fur lined and trimmed little coat + matching sweater and jeans and Bill found, you guessed it; a hot pink little fishing rod, which Deb wrapped beautifully! but sadly, apparently no one sells hot pink tackle boxes (and yes, they checked all the lunch boxes in k-mart AND target). so that goes on the list of possible presents for poppalina for next year...next year already? where did this first one go?
